So... people have been asking. How was your skate trip to Canberra? Was it fun? Was it horrible?

And, depending on my mood at any particular time, I have replied in any number of ways:

ASRA Admin All Tied Up in the Capital

Two races, two winners...it was all tied up in the capital. Jackson Shapiera drilled the Teeth of Doom while Steve Daddow blitzed the Streets of Zoom. After four races in this year's Conehead Cup they have two wins each and the series will be decided at Race 5 in Sydney.

ASRA Admin Conehead Cup - Capital Punishment

The Conehead Cup moves to Canberra for two days of racing over the October long weekend. Saturday is ditch-racing in the famously toothed Ainslie Ditch, and Sunday will be slalom at Stromlo Circuit.

ASRA Admin Conehead Cup 2007, Race 3, Canberra

Hi folks, I'm back in Sydney after spending a night in a Canberra hospital with a fractured sternum and suspected heart damage! Eventually the doctors ruled out any damage to the heart, but it was a bit of a freak-out.

The head-to-head racing was awesome - it was really exciting to watch, and I think led to a couple of people (me being one of them) trying a bit too hard to get to the finish line too quickly.
