Hey all,

Just saying a friendly hello, I only got into longboarding a few months ago so I'm still pretty newb at it all. Trying to get into the downhill/sliding style of things,I'm in the south of Perth area but yer always willing to travel for session. I'll keep popping in to check up on events but lets us know if there are any night sessions (works a bitch) and I'll be sure to rock up.

Hey dan, the Perth dh scene is pretty good these days. There are a handful of guys that skate real good and a whole lota groms, not much luge though. Give me a ring or a text and i would be more than happy to take you out for some runs. (probably be pretty keen to have a run on your sled as well if its all good) Number is below.

hey guys i'm moving to perth in a few weeks.. I ride luge mostly but skate and mountainboard as well, keen to hook up with you guys when I get over there

Sounds like a gnarly crash duncan, glad to hear your on the mend though. If any of you guys feel like coming out for a ride tomorrow afternoon perhaps then id be glad to have a bit of a cruise. 0406634789. I'm 43 and have just got back into skating in June. I hit it pretty hard and have loved getting back on a board. I have started to learn how to slide but basically have been bombing hills like a dead cow sliding on a sled down a mountain side. Fast but with no braking ability. Hence the plate and 7 screws to fix the collarbone that shattered into 4 bits on Dec 2nd.  I've decided to pull my head in and cruise more, I'm not back to 100% yet but am happy to cruise anytime. Hi Dwayne, Im 34 (and have 2 kids).  Is that old enough :).

Im going for a cruze with a few others this arvo, but I think it might be classed as extreme.

Where are you based?  Im in Mt Lawley and ride to and from work.  I completely agree about more fun they running and cycling and also find it helps with the fitness.

If you look down the page, you will find a face book link. Thats were you will find out about meets, etc, etc.

Hi Guys, are there any older longboarders out there (35+).  I'm 39 and have been longboarding for about 6 months now and love it.  After the kids are in bed I hit the coast or river and go cruising for 2 hours.  I'm probably fitter know than I've ever been and its so much more fun than running or cycling.  If anyone is keen for a cruise - nothing too extreme, let me know.
