Vans for skate shoes??

I was browsing through some skate shoes and I found some vans tnt 5's. Are they any good??

I wear vans "old skool" but they are pretty much identical to TNTs, not sure about prices.
What can go wrong with vans, they are the original "skate shoe".

this guy knows his shit. imo vans are pre comfortable but they wear quick and dont offer an awful lot of protection. i wear cupsole only for longboarding, most of the nike 6.0's are cup and they a freaking sturdy shoes!

at the end of the day its all personal, i will never touch nike's ever ever ever again, its worth checking out the vans DD Spawn's which have a lace guard on them and really do save you chewing your laces up
