ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

So we all have to spend the stimulus package on stimulating shit to stimulate the ecomomy... right? Like building a mini ramp! Thing is i've ridden heaps of chat mini ramps and 1 or 2 good ones, i want mine to be Radgnarical.
seen a bunch of plans on ebay but does anyone know if any are better than others and weather it all comes down to the kook that built it?
And does anyone have some sweet pdf plans they want to email me for free!

Man there use to be a skate shop in Parramatta called Action Inline and they had a wicked mini ramp in the middle of the shop. I think I might be able to track down the plans. they now own Hockey Heaven in Seven Hills.
Some info here...
And ask Groundhangers - he's the expert...
I'm not into stimulating some other dudes package for free. Sorry!
$35 and a 6 pack and I'm yours :)

Kwala skateboarda used to have a rad as Mini. You need to find them plans. I am serious !!! Cal ? Ask for ? Good luck, they shut down...
I used to have a 4ft 1/2pipe mini in my backyard when I was a kid, the best fun was I had a roll in on one side that started 2 foot above the coping/platform to give you that little bit extra when you hit the other side.Sort of like the rolln in at Monster vert but at one cnr of the ramp not in the center....Wish I had photos of it...
I so wish i had room!!! I am workin on some little modules for my single car garage, i reckon anything at your own place is fun, check this
is anyone from kwala on here?
the yard is huge. so anything will fit. mini first, Vert Next? tacos on both ends? wouldnt that be nice!
Grab a copy of Thrasher presents How to build Skateboard ramps..Halfpipes,boxes,bowls and more.......Try crabshack or other sk8 stores for a copy..
i am sure there would be ramps in affluent suburbs that could be relocated , i can see the reaction from the locals now "like are you stealing the local mini ramp great i will help you""
council would probably pay you to take away the 1/2pipe at mona vale if its still there,..
The concrete wave with Scoot on the cover has a thingo on building a backyard mini.

That fishpond looks fun!

Always wanted one when I was 13. when I turned 35 I thought fuck it..better late than never...so built one in the backyard about 12 months ago 6metres long 3.6 wide with a flat section of about 1.2 metres. great for the kids, but tires me out after 2 to 3 minutes!

A mate Hogy built one a few months ago 4.8 wide.. same transition (about 2.5 metres radius) but with a flat section of about 2.4 metres. the extra flat section makes all the difference!
my 20c worth..do it right first time. I used 18 mm ply scored so it'll bend..seems to be holding up OK. My mate used 2 x 7mm ply sandwitched together and it s sorta cracking already.

Paul Carey or Brad NS would be the guys to ask though...good luck...can't think of a better way to do you're bit for the economy
