just wondering if anyone has ridden one before, and if it's worth spending the money to get one ?
because it's either that or the Landy Evo

I like it. I like it more than my evo. I don't regret spending the money on it. Perfect ride when set up with kookys.
great board, so if you want a board that is going to be a great all round board that you can slash ride hard jump of stuff and it will hold together then get the killswitch, or the hellcat or the landy switch. but the best advice I can give you is go go try as many of them as you can then you will know for yourself as noone can tell you what will be the best board for you, you must find out for yourself.
your looking at 2 completely different boards. in fact they are almost opposites.
ok thanx guys....bitta peer pressure invloved with buying boards at the moment...lol
cheers
i have ridden both, i own an evo and love it to death, i take it your new to longboarding or speedboarding and the evo is alot easier to ride and set up properly, you can throw any trucks you want on an evo so long as they are 180 wide and it will feel fairly good. you want a board thats got the sweetest cave ever, get a killswitch, you want something that your gonna be able to ride without much trouble get the evo
I own a Killswitch and it's nothing short of amazing.

For downhill it is prefect, there is a subtle wave cave that locks your feet right in. A small pocket at the front of the board allows you to lock your front foot, which is important because this is where you pivot the board to turn. There is also a slight drop in the board which creates leverage for your back foot so that you can pull right down tight into a tuck and hold it straight.

For free ride it is as equally amazing, it is short and light and looks bad ass, the art work is sick. At the moment I have randel 180's and it's insanely carvey and so much fun.

I personally have not ridden an evo so i can't comment on them, but they look bulky heavy and awkward and as Leigh said two completely different boards. The evo is ideal for downhill so if that's what you want to focus on then get that, because it has been the leading downhill board for years. If you want something a bit more versatile get the Killswitch, it is a little bit pricier but it's worth it.
kilswitch is a rad board but have any of you guys actually ridden it at speed, total different ball game..,wanna be on with your truck settings and your weight positioning....there are easier boards to ride, randals on a killswitch at speed,unbelievable...gnar
the kill switch is perfect. i went all out and got aera's and a kill switch!

anything you want to do. this board will do it....

just buy one and you will be amazed. i have run it with paris 180s and id was good for free ride but not so stable doing dh but then i got my aera's and now my board has the same ride height as a drobthrough with randals or paris and i can run my board loose and its still stable at speed and the gangsta lean is sweet in corners

k rimes has made a sick set up buy the kill switch then get the trucks
