Could somebody please tell me some pro's and con's of precision trucks?

I know they are pricey and thats a con, but anything else would be great.

And also a cheap alternative to Precisions.

Thanks

Pro: No slop

Con: Cost quite a lot

Alternative: Cast trucks

Bottom line: If you need to ask, you don't need them.

A cheap alternative to precisions = cast trucks

Yer i know,

Im running Paris 195 mm.

But im wondering whats the closest feeling cast truck to precisions?

None
yeh if ur asking this u dont need em
hey dude, paris trucks are bomb, and they're cheap so you can shred the crap out of em

What Henry and Tim said, + 1.

randal 42s bro

dh and freeride

paris feel a bit sketchy at higher speeds, but randals hold up really well.

If you want an option that slows you tontry different angles like precisions or randal 42 get on to ado at creative sk8 and ask for a set of khiro wedges, they have about a dozen different options in the one pack. 25 bucks and you can wedge the Paris to any angle to make them more stable. Just a thought. 195's are rad. I wedged the back one with a 10 degree dewedge and it made an massive difference. Added heaps of stability in straight fast bombs then back to normal for other stuff. Same trucks heaps of options.

As for cast trucks that feel most similar to precisions, apparently the Calibers and probably the new Gunmetals. No need to change from paris though. If you're feeling some slop, consider fitting a new pivot cup.
