i heard the surface at newtons is really grippy, due to the rubber laid down by the cars that race there so it might be a bit sketchy trying to drift, you could try it, but I reckon only do it if you have complete faith in your ability to keep the drift in control or you might take out other riders behind you and they probably won't be too happy about that.
do you reakon trying a set of otang or retro free rides on this track could be some fun then? grip from the road + slide from your wheels =?? fun times maybe?

I agree with benbro here, I don't think this track requires you to predrift, if you watch videos of last year, ppl just airbrake coming into the dipper and then just railed it down into forest elbow if you can find the right line. I'll be sticking with square lipped edges for my wheels.
