Usually a 30 and 29 inch WB and 10 inches wide its a slick machine for race and free ride. He can change up a few specs to suit you if you ask for it. Also can do Carbon fibre and bamboo for a little extra.
Just the generic deck is $190
The glyde boards are pretty good. All those guys know how to make boards really well, can't really go wrong
i recon an earthwing belly carver/racer would be alright and maybe get some paris or randals wheels sector 9 race formula or tweakers or even cult classics are real buttery for sliding
the swallow is unbelievably rad its a bit wider than the scud tho.... and theres a tail on it!
have a glyde libelle with paris trucks, its my freeride/get around board.... Never gets wheel bite all the way up to 76mm wheels with stock paris barrel and purple venom barrel bushings. Cant fault it.
All depends how much you wanna spend too... you'll pay more for a glyde but you'll get a whole lot more board
Pete uses fiberglass resin to glue his glyde boards... means you can pretty much take it in the bath with you.... I hose mine off when it gets dirty.
Comet boards use some hippy earth friendly glue which does the job but wont be as strong or water resistant as a glyde.
my two cents cause im procrastinating and dont wanna do uni work
Go with Kelly's suggestion, but you'll probably find Cult Classics easier to pull speed-control slides with. You'll have to order them from the UK though.
Comet Ethos is an option too - it will allow you to ollie up gutters where a normal speedboard won't. There are so many good boards, trucks and wheels now that it's pretty hard to go wrong....
the comet ethos is nice actually ! i like boards like that ! thanks guys for all the advice keep it coming :)
Mate, I reckon you've got all the advice you need. Time to head to a skate shop, fork out the readies and get shredding.
