sounds like you found 65mm wheels a bit on the small side...

need to plan my next outing. am thinking cook river bike path.

Cook river is a nice run, but has some rougher surfaces in places, won't be as nice as M7 Haggy.

good fun finding this forum. i'm new to longboarding..i drive through from M4 to M7 going campbelltown and been looking at the really long bike path..does anybody still skate there? i'd like to join if you guys are going..

i skated i think about 8 from rose bay to botany (all uphill)

any board is capeable of doing distance, its all about how fit you are. it wont be a bad board to do distance on thats for sure

Sounds like it would be a great setup. Anything with a decent wheelbase (holds speed well) and big soft wheels is fine for pushing around longer distances.

I don't know anyone skating the path regularly. I would do it more, but I live a bit far away.
