i know one of my mates got a leather jacket in bali cheap. but i dont think that its very good quality. you might have to look around, and if your lucky you might find something...

Take some detailed pictures of the type of leathers you want.
Make sure you check out the leather they have in stock to make sure something is suitable. (they usualy have heaps of types)
There used to be a leather guy on every other corner.
They are cheap so if they quoted a good price it may be worth the risk.
For $300 ou may end up wit a $300 piece of crap, but you may end up with a $1000 awsome race suit. Its a risk.

ask the locals i think, if you are staying with people they might be able to tell you a place, they would certainly have a better idea than most of us :)

I know there are cheep suits there everywhere. (pronounced 'chip soos, maaaan')
Didn't know about leathers, but sounds like a good idea! Maybe ask one of the suit tailors if they know people who can get it done :D

Be sure to reply when you get an answer, because it could be a really good way to get cheap leathers.
