you want a 35 degree plate front and atleast a 42 on the back, i ride big zigs on my one and use it for everything

what so i should flip the hanger at the front and leaf the truck normal at  the back?

would u pick bear over randal though for DH?

i would use randal anyday, as you can get the plates you need for it, throwing a set of 50degree bears on it is going to fee wack, you gotta allow for the wedging of the board when you pick your trucks, the nose is wedged 15degrees and the tail is dewedged 15 degrees too, so you need to have a low degree plate on the front and a high degree on the back, the most common is 35 front 50 back as you get a fairly stable combo with out the stupid front truck angle and you get a reasonable back angle. I did used to run 50's front and back and it was.... it was interesting, the front turned heaps as it was about 65 degrees and the back didnt turn much as it was sitting at 35. If you set it up with a 35 front 50 back you will end up with a 50-35 combo which feels great for DH. When i was running cast trucks on mine i had a 35 front and a 57 (used a wedge riser) back which gave me a 50-42 combo, perfect setup for DH and freeriding. Having alot of baseplates and wedge risers is handy when setting up your evo but i definently like the 50-42 on this board
Bear everyy time. made for thge deck.

Don't do it! Buy a drop thru, or slight drop down!

I feel like I'm in a hammock whenever I ride an evo, but that is just me, I like my dropthru.

same, it feels like instead of turning, it just kind of sways haha.

Topmounts are the best :)

Sean, show him some footage of you ripping the Evo...
The evo is the best board ever for downhill the thing is a fuckin tank. If you want to go fast the evo is the one. Stable at speeds but as sean says makes a great freeride board set up properly. Love the evo.
i got some footage in the works dan, its not a lively board, but i been riding one for 3 years so its weird getting on another dropped speedboard, just feels right to me
