ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

Gabriel Gwynne has been a Hopkin Team rider for a few months, and in this time he has proven to be a very important part of the team. He has been shredding the Gnar with Ozzie's best and bombed some of th gnarliest hills that Oz has to offer.
Through this commitment to skateboarding, we decided to make him a pro model. It was a long and hard task getting the shape and the mould correct but we feel that this board truely represents Gabe's own personal style and is definitely a breakthrough in board-making technology. We are still in prototype-testing mode but hopefully we will have a final product on the market soon. This will be a Hopkin Skate exclusive board and we will be patenting all designs to keep it 100% awesome. If you wish to look into getting on one of these boards then let us know.
To keep you stoked, heres a few pictures of the process we have gone through while making this super rad board for Ozzie's gnarliest grommet:

First we start with the deck. We have cut this shape to represent Gabe and all that is Gnar

After the shape has been cut to size, we have to drill the holes for the trucks. Using an old baseplate as pilot hole we are able to get it spot on.

After the hole are done, we attach the trucks. For this board we have chosen to stray from regular DH trucks and gone for the narrow hanger, 150mm. This is because Gabe is gnar, who needs 180mm? We want super turn from this get-up and it has to be super nimble to obtain optimum performance.

Here is the Grommet himself getting super stoked on his new pro model.

The board is complete! Now after a quick safety meeting its time to put the end product to the test.

As you can see this board is capable of shredding EXTREME amounts of gnar. The Gnar Bar has been raised and the limits to longboarding are now well beyond sky-high. Through innovative design we are able to create THE ULTIMATE BOARD.

I might be able to get one in like three weeks. Have to talk to the parents first. Could you ship me one out now and I will pay you in weekly installments of §5 starting on the first of next month. Do you think it would be better mounted on smokeys or Monkeys? Do they come with any other graphics? If I sent you a return envelope maybe you could put it in there and then you wouldn't have to buy stamps....
cant find it on the hop shop site?
dedicated to the plank
its a bit box shaped for my liking. i guess its all personal preference. either way, good work Gabe and you crazy guys at Hopkin.
is it available in a dee lite version? like a pool noodle wrapped in carbon fibre? i would pre-order it if you also moulded an actual shoe into the deck up front for some real front foot lock in and for performing hands-free early grabs so you can light durries mid air
that sounds so sik!!!
like a freeboard.
