Got some flatspotted, coned, and/or ovaled wheels? I can true them up for you.

The surface finish I am able to achieve is similar to that of slide prepped wheels.

I can also modify the profile of your wheels for you, If you want round, chamfered, or square edges on your wheels, I can do it.

If you have a worn set of wheels with now unsupported edges, I can square them up again, it just costs you a little bit of width.

Grooved wheels for rain? I can do it. I wont touch the new section of the wheel so you still have untouched thane for your contact patch.

Heck if you want me to cone your wheels for you, I can even do that too.

NOTE. the smaller the flatspot the less wheel I will have to take away to match it.

I am a trade qualified fitter and machinist and all work will be performed on a lathe.

I am not attempting to make copious amounts of cash from this but it would be nice if it helped me buy a set of wheels here and there, so price list is:

$5 for wheel truing. per set of 4.
$5 for wheel modifying. per set of 4.
$20 for wets.
plus enough to post them back to you.

Send your wheels to

Phil Bartlett
112 Lord Howe Drive
Ashtonfield 2323 NSW

include clear instructions of what work you want performed, to aid the speedy return of your wheels.

Payment: either include the cash inside your package, or paypal (philipbartlett@hotmail.com)

Good on ya Phil but heaps too cheap! Less than a hamburger and chips for 4 wheels, bargain. I have got some wheels i would like machined, should be in touch in the new year.
haha thanks, if you feel guilty and want to pay $10 a set, I wont complain, but $5 seems reasonable to me, you dont want to be spending too much on maintaining your wheels. I'm more interested in having repeat customers and a larger customer base than making the price point high. If you like the service, let people know about it.
time for me to start saving to get that box of wheels un flatspotted and un coned hahahaha, will be in touch when i am out of round wheels phil
Hey Phil, I believe that the urethane powder/dust that is produced through lathing wheels can be really bad for you. Have you investigated the safety requirements, etc, etc?
Yes I have all the appropriate safety gear, thanks for your concerns.

Send em all on!
This looks like a great service phil, when I inevitably flatspot/cone my stims when they arrive I'll be sure to send them on.
Bump, perfect for exnewtons wheels, or if newtons convinced you that wets are actually good idea.
oh dude!wat a great idea....and service!..........definetly gunna drop a box on you!......the wear that was put on my newtons wheels is minimal,.they are still ideal for any other road,...slide wheels are heading your way bro,.
need to talk to you about making some proto rain wheels , a very clever gentleman explained to me and merrick a design that i recon will be the bomb for wet riding,.....
Awesome Phil, I have a few sets I'll be sending your way
Thanks guys can't wait to get to work on them for you.
What do rain grooves do? I see it must be for riding in the wet, but doesnt that screw up your bearings and griptape or something?
