can't find a helmet that fits my head
ok i have had dread for about a year and a bit and i have tried to find a helmet that fits and it seems impossible to find. so was hoping that i may have a fello rasta that can tell me where to find one that will fit.

I just recently scored a netti MTB helmet - and Iam very happy with it. I have longdreads and it fits well.

one thought was getting a helmet and just cutting a hole in the back and putting them out the back, but it kindof destroy the point of a helmet. does any one know of a brand that makes bigger helmets

Got it on ebay - but I went to the Bike shop in tewantin(cnr Venture dr and eumundi rd) and tried all theirs on first so I knew it woukld fit. It is a full face,and it is not the biggest one they make

its usualy the lining inside the helmet that makes the size. I know daddow has got the 'small size' lining in his lid coz when i tired it on it wobbled round like a mofo... both of us have the same size shell... im not sure if mtn bike helmets have different size lining but im sure it cant be too hard to get an XL helmet... they HAVE to accommodate for dudes with big noggin.... or in your case a shitload of hair.

If you are planning on regularly travelling at over 50 kmh, then yes you should definitely get a full face.
If you are just cruising and doing a bit of sliding then a normal lid will be fine.
