buying a longboard in bali?

hey guys, im heading to bali later this year and was wondering if it is possible to pick up a cheap spare longboard skateboard while im over there? if so, where do i go for it? perhaps some locally made stuff?

Haha yeah i went there like a month ago and all they have is like Globe skateboards.....
They're about 30% cheaper but if you want it, get it. Otherwise skating is not big in Bali at all. You'll see why when you get over there....

I just got back from Bali a couple of weeks ago. Too hot and humid for my skating tastes, I prefer freezing Melbourne. Not to mention that the roads, footpaths etc are dodgy as.

Yeah they have that Globe shop in Kuta but if you're a serious skater you would be wise to save your bucks for something better.

actually there are some really rad hills up past ubud. also some dope skateparks as well.

Ubud has some mad roads. The famous road there called Monkey Forest Rd. actually looks like a decent freeride spot, however it's a main rd. The country roads look gnar...but I wouldn't risk your life with their drivers, just wait til you get back to Aus. to skate I reckon.
