Body Armour
Do any of you guys wear body armour under your leathers or when not wearing them?

I know that some people wear the stuff when it's to hot for leathers. Havent tried it myself though.

I know Jackson wears skins. But thats not really protection.

I reckon the most important piece after helmet and gloves is good back protection. The expensive ones are quite large and bulky but I found a really good one on ebay suited for snowboarding etc for about $40.
It can be worn by itself or under leathers. Skin grows back but once your spine is buggered thats it for skating.

back protectors are a must..i ride with mine under my leathers...ash got nailed by daddow at our last event and that put him out for the day..its more you crashing and your mate coming smoking in behind you,,thats the real problem or gutters
the more protection the better is something that ive learned along the way..
as long as it doesnt restrict ur ridding..we cant have that

body armour is actually pretty good.... its light, strong and will give you something other than skin to tear up!
kevlar suits or leather are also the best option, but for some of you guys (SA, QLD, NSW) if i remember my SA summer correctly i'd have died in leathers....
here, not so bad....
Steve came out for a roll today (finally) and we hit some speed and then spent the arvo drifting a hairpin on one of our favourite roads- good fun.....we've gotta get a few more people up there and have spotters, riders and someone to get flix etc....
good times.
