best wheels for race?

I don't ride them myself, but every man and his dog seems to race/DH on Orange Otangs - 4Prez or Inheat. There must be a good reason ;)

Apparently they slide buttery too.

Inheats can break into a slide fairly easy with a sharp lip and it wont destroy the lip for the rest of the race.
I was very surprised the first time i slid on a new set of inheats to find that they maintained there shape.

what Dave said. have a look at almost any DH vid and you will see shitloads of orange otangs inheats/4prez... you can't go wrong with them.

Interesting. The reason I never bothered with Otangs for racing, is because they lost their edges after one run. Where as one set of Bigzigs, or Cult wheels would last me several races. Personally I like my race wheels to last a long time, cos they are expensive.
