Howdy,

Does anyone know when these new wheels will be released to purchase? Also, what are the specs on the wheel?

Cheers

its wide, with dimples on them.
They shouldn't be too far away, the molds are at the factory.
The first size release of them will be 77mm high 68mm contact patch.
In duros 77a, 80a,83a so green, lime and lemon.
The ones above were prototype rain wheels, not being released yet.
these are the same ones but close up. (i think)

What do the holes do?
They seriously look like big zigs with holes drilled in them.
They may even be a proto Chaput did before the mould had dimples.

probably work the same as tread on your car tyre does, displaces water into the holes so that you don't have a layer of water between the entire wheel and the road which would make you aquaplane out of control.

They CNC them after the wheel has been poured.
the holes dont do shit chaput rode em in the wet at maryhill and slid out in the first few corners...mischo rode em aswell but he could beat everyone on just bearings so it doesnt count...if your into speedchecking then these arent for you but the right track and style they would be a rad wheel...
