Hey,
I'm looking at getting my first set of leathers in the coming weeks and just wanted to know the difference between 1pc and 2pc leathers that zipped together into a 1pc (Pro's and Cons). On Ebay etc there seems to be more options when you look at a 2pc leathers that zip together..?

cheers,
Trav

get a one piece if possible, but a 2p will do fine if it zips together securley
if u have a 2pc that doesnt zip than u are exposing skin when you fall
If you plan on racing, IGSA rules state that you have to have a 1pc, if its a 2pc it has to zip around the whole waist. Generally a 1pc is less restrictive in a tuck compared to a 2pc. But a 2pc is more versatile in that you can just wear the jacket if you feel like you don't need full on protection especially if its a hot day.
cheers,
going to go with the 2pc that zips together for my 1st set i think. down the track i'll invest more in a decent 1 pc....

Trav a 2 piece won't make a lot of difference and yes they are cheaper. At the speeds we are crashing at they will never fall apart. You will over time break the accordian that is the stretch panel in the pants and possibly the zipper but before that happens you will have gaff tape everywhere and you will be due for a new set.
2 pc leathers for your first is good. I like them, and I still have a set. Sometimes I just ride with the bottoms only.
