Event Description

Its time for the 3rd K-Valley outlaw showdown!

This is a fun little track with high speed sweepers and a tight hairpin corner tucked away in the beautiful Kangaroo Valley.

Minimum safety requirements are Helmet and Gloves. Full faces and leathers are recommended but not mandatory. If you value your skin i would say wear leather, but if you don't have any don't worry, you can still race as long as you got a lid.

There is a campground at the bottom of the hill so there will be free-riding of the local hills on the saturday followed by camping and racing on sunday.

Entry fee will be around $25, if you wish to contribute more to help pay for petrol for shuttle drivers that would be epic.

There will now be a 32-man heat tree, so if you did not get your name on the riders list it wouldnt hurt to show up, because you will probably still get to race.

There will be cash prizes and also give-aways thanks to Sector 9 and Orangatang. If anyone else would like to get involved as an event sponsor please contact me and we can get some banners organized.

We need helpers! Anyone who wants to help with marshaling, start/finish lines, shuttling, radios and just general radness contact me ASAP.

I would like this event to be documented and filmed, so if there are any cinematographers out there who know their stuff and would like to help film please contact me. I have camera equipment and will be able to swing some dollar but only if your serious and can prove your camera skills.

The top10 OON standings:

1 Ben Hay 407

2 Cameron Kite 304

3 Merrick Wildash 288

4 Matthew Pascoe 282

5 Gabriel Gwynne 262

6 Jack Allen 255

7 Myles Borchardt 251

8 Ashley Armitage 246

9 Steve Daddow 234

10 Haggy Strom 200

As you know K-Valley is the final race in Aus first DH 'season', bringing the race count up to 4. The top 3 results out of the 4 races will be counted to determine the winner, so anyone in the top 10 has a good chance.

Thanks again to everyone that has thrown outlaws over the past 9 months to be part of the series and to all the skaters that travelled and made these events huge. Special thanks to Fat Pigeon Longboards for supplying 3 decks including a foamcore for 1st place!

See everyone on the hill!

Ian... how long have you had to sort it out? Sydney cars are full with people who are getting on planes... get a ride with wide-line or Benbro or someone... sort it out fool

i'd suggest making phone calls or start sending messages instead of posting up here and waiting for someone to figure it out for you
