hope you guys get a good turnout. i remember the 1st cannonball run and how much of a blast it was. speaking of urban gnar i'm heading to the broadway bomb in a month!

Yeah this event is for any one that wants to Roll, not everyone will chose to race but that's cool go at your own pace.

Everyone will be provided with Reflective duck tape (Lights r an option)

Excellent - look forward to this. I'll have to channel my old new york city riding spirits for this one, been a while since I hit the traffic.

I would suggest that while there are people who are riding to win, this is an event open to anyone who just wants to roll. Come on down and enjoy the stoke of riding city streets with other like-minded individuals!

Oops, my mistake. I forgot this was firmly in batshit-insane territory. I hit Oxford most days commuting, but not at that level of gnar since I need to get to work with, y'know, all my limbs still attached.
Kam, are you still going to upload that video?

if you wanna win you dont slow down. no sliding, no carving, no footbreaking. you just full tuck through the gaps and push down hills where needed. with the 'grid lock' traffic you can dart and zoom in between the stopped cars, when theres a shit tone of traffic thats slowly moving and merging shit gets hectic.
either way this push race is gnar as hell, sure come for the cruise but if you wanna race for the cash be prepared to get hurt

Packed traffic means more foot-braking and less room to speed-check slide or carve from my (admittedly limited) experience. Wouldn't slightly more open traffic be a better option Jacko?

But Jacko the traffic wont be on the road will it?
and if it is it wont be going fast will it?
And their wont be complete fack bags of sydney drivers behind the wheel TRYING TO KILL ME will there?

The answer to all 3 Q coming up after the break.

im serious, if you dont know the city or how gnarly it gets with busy traffic, you could get seriously hurt. i would suggest hanging back and pushing slowly and staying to the sidewalks if you want to go.
we are also thinking of making it the saturday night where the traffic is busier, just like we did it last time. the point being the traffic will be so heavy it will be a grid-lock for us to race through... not so good for new comers though
