What an awesome weekend of riding ...... Everyone and everyone improved as the day got on and by the smiles on everyone's faces, you could tell that we were riding a RAD hill.
Congratulation to all the Crew up in Townsville and all the people who put the event on. It was one of the best events I have been to. So much riding the you had to take a break, and with no cars. Well done !!!
Thanks again and see you all on the hill again soon.

i think B-rad was the only one to beat the bastard and not get beat back, big thanks to grits, cal, adrain and all the locals that pulled off a smooth hassle free weekend.

i doubt it... i think everyone had at least one crash/spill.
Rad weekend, everyone was skating so hard it was unbelievable. The level of riding in OZ has picked up so much and everyone is just frothing... Sneaky pete was in on the action all weekend, there was not one run where he was not a poofteenth behind the dude in front just hunting him down, ripping shit up so fast. B-Rad was in his element with gnar fast corners and was styling all weekend. Steve and Leeso were doing what they do best, shred the gnar, and Ash was really stepping it up and getting in with the mix. Was awesome.
One of the best hills in OZ and one of the most perfectly organized events ive ever attended.
Well done to everyone who helped organize the event and get things going. I noticed that everyone had a certain job to do and they all did it perfectly, it made things run as smooth as smooth could be. There were more than enough runs so big thanks to the shuttle drivers for haulin' ass up that hill all weekend.
Props to everyone who rode that hill, its a gnarly hill and a real test of your abilities, not only mental but physical. Well done to everyone

Did any of the stand up guys get away without a fall all weekend?

Super GS results
Jackson won - about a second faster than everyone.
Leeso second.
Daddo a close third behind Lesso
and el presidente Haggy puling off a big fourth

From all accounts it was an amazingly fast course. Mostly downhill with cones on the fastest part of the road. Jackson was clocked at 62km in practice. Jackson was racing on the new Hopkin Racing GS board = Blitz 36. A proto of ply, fibreglass, carbon, flat, stiff with little flex. Kooky trucks. Orangatang wheels.

Freeriding took place all weekend. I'm sure the stories will be posted soon enough. Peter Hill when down big, dislocated shoulder.
There were other crashes - mostly road rash all round.

Hard to tell Pete till we get there. Suffice to say you will likely be able to do it on a wound off speedboard with a topmount being more ideal. We tend to set our giant slalom a bit slower and a bit tighter then the ISSA guide stipulates so our version of super G would likely be closer to the top end of GS. However when we get there the hill will stipulate whats possible.
