Not sure what everyone thinks but i am not that keen on the sale of second hand helmets. As a buyer you have no knowledge of the integrity of the helmet. I could go on but i think everyone gets the idea .Thoughts....

yeh, i checked mine out. Only the outer shell has scratches. It has long ones along the juts along the back. It has no dents, but once im home from school ill put some pics up.

As I'm only 13, money is pretty hard to come by, but i just sold my wii, so have some extra cash
What about internal cracks??
no cracks on the foam on the inside that i can see, including no hairline cracks. There might be invisible ones, so I will have to be wary.
SAY NO Thanks !!! Hairline cracks are usauly not visible ,also a new helmet foam will contour to the shape of YOUR head giving way better protection !! HELMETS should be regularly replaced as it is the main protection for serious injury ...

Foam does tend to depress after time which will make for improper fitting and less protection !
always buy a SNUG fitting helmet ...
Put it on your folks for buying you safety gear. They usually crumble under guilt if you mention you might not be as safe with a dodgey helmet. Haha!

Spot on fitz , i just don,t want to look on the forum and see wanted to buy full face helmet as some of these dudes start gettin faster. So i propose banning the sale of them altogether...Just my opinion
if your a kid and dont have enough money to dish out on safety gear hit up your folks. They SHOULD buy you stuff like helmets. Just say look mum/dad im going to be doing this why not do it safely... would u like me to be dead or a vegtable? i dont think so...
if they wont buy u a helmet they are bad parents...
any helmet is better than none and i spose the best helmet still may not save you...so none of us kno whats round the corner.,its a risk we all take....at least kno your helmet, wear it and give yourself every chance of walkin away....good job keepin the groms n newcomers informed guff...alot of us have heard it all before, but while ever new crew keep signin up it is good to keep the message fresh and strong...wear a helmet[preferably a good one].

A helmet that provides less protection than is compensated for is worse than no helmet.
