So im finally home from my holiday, and I took my board (a sector 9 ghost tree) out with a friend. I'm fairly new to longboarding and my friend had an oldish trick deck with him. I was having lots of trouble sliding, but slid pretty easy on the trick deck. Is this because I suck, or because the wheels need breaking in? And if I do need to break the wheels in, how do I do it?

By the way, I know that the board isnt good for sliding

You can slide on pretty much any board. My tips are dig your heels in (not too much), toes up and carve into it.

heres how to break in your wheels

Trick deck wheels are always much easier to slide because they're so hard and small. The more you slide on your sector the easier the wheels will slide.

throw your shoulders around, use your weight and turn tight ;D

push your back leg hard in slide
