recently i crashed in my vector m4, it resulted in me being in hospital with a bad concussion and a nearly fractured/broken neck, no skating for four weeks. I pulled apart the helmet and the foam has some dents in it but there is no visible cracks in the shell, i am not sure as to get a new helmet to be safe or not. would be much appreciated if someone could help me out here cheers!

dude if you had a concussion then the helmet saved your life and has had its one hit.
REPLACE THE HELMET IF YOU WANNA LIVE THROUGH YOUR NEXT CONCUSSION INDUCING CRASH!
Helmets are a SINGLE USE item. Once you have whacked your head with it (or even dropped it from a decent height) it is no longer safe to use. A lack of damage to the outer shell means nothing because the job of the outer shell is simply to protect the foam inside from general wear and tear. The foam is what takes the impact and dissipates the force of a crash, once it is damaged it can no longer do this. And I wouldn't use it after pulling it apart anyway...
thank you for the advice i will start gathering some cash to buy a new one! peace.
i had the same thoughts although i didnt want to blow my money if not needed!
