ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

OK folks, we're back after just a three-day break. The ASRA team has landed in Bathurst, and despite advance warnings of how cold it is we've still been surprised - it's brutally cold. My first task here was to buy some fingerless gloves and a very attractive hat:

Once suitably warmed we got settled into our luxury digs before heading out for some twilight mini-ramp action at the festival site. It's a 6' ramp, so more of a maxi-mini really, and it took its toll with Trav and Haggy taking some hard slams.

A blurry Trav heads for the coping, while Haggy, Blackwood, Pete and the Van of Love look on

Yes, it was cold up there. Bring your woolies. See you tomorrow. Rider check-in starts at midday at the Flannery Skillset Centre.

Yeah Rob!!!!

Reppin Bathurst!!! He should get a write up in the Advocate.

I have been watching the live feed on and off all day at work, it looks great. Very jealous i am not there to skate the mountain and that amazing looking mini. I saw Robin slam super hard on the elbow, it looked pretty brutal  - Is he ok?

Robin Sandberg crashed hard in practice at the end of the day. Went off to hospital...but I think he's OK...ish.

How do i get hold of one of these caps?

ASRA merchandise is overflowing AND IT ALL MUST GO!

See this man during check-in:

Contact Blackwood.

Robin Sandberg has fractured his back and will be transferred from Bathurst Hospital to Nepean Hospital. He needs his stuff to get there (passport etc.). He was sharing a room with Dani Hawes perhaps???

Anybody who can spread the word to the right people, please do so. Thanks.

Bugs, I am currently in Sydney planning to come to Bathurst tomorrow morning and depart at the close of Saturday racing - is there anything I can do to help Robin? Mob: 0411130000 or bdegraaf@optusnet.com.au

Happy to assist in any way that I can - we look after our own.

Trav: "I'm gonna release a panther up here. These kangaroos are too lazy. They need an enemy."

Bruce, I think he's OK. He's got people organising his gear, and people are visiting him tonight. Perhaps give Haggy a call - he might be at the hospital now.

Perhaps there should be a return of an ambulance and fully trained staff and full equipment at an "off" rather than the car that was used today, saw the impact and it was obvious a back injury just so glad it wasn't worse; my heart was stopping when they started taking his leathers off before the ambos got there......

Hi where can I find a schedule for Saturday & Sunday
