Adelaide Longboard Sliding

OK, been here a couple of weeks and just awaiting my board and gloves in the mail. I'm looking for some like minded folks to skate with. Preferably those who want to slide but I'm up for a bit of all skateboarding antics.

I'm in Semaphore, Adelaide and have wheels (in garage) so will be able to get places. Even if you can't meet up if anyone can suggest a hill spot that I'm unlikely to get arrested on (reading post on corkscrew Road) that would be swell. Ultimately I'm looking for a friendly slide crew to share some stoke with.

I've seen plenty of boarders about so don't be shy

hey guys just joined up, ive got a freebord and a sector 9, i ride in a group of 6 but 3 just went of to india for a few months and the girl of the group fell off and is scared to get back on so its just myself and sam who just purchased a $600 board no idea what it is but its fast, i hit 60k down mt NOT ALOUD TO SAY! lol anyway keen to meet up with a group i drive and live in burnside, btw before i get hated on about the freebord i am a snowboard instructor at thredbo and its not snowseason hense the freebord its not because i can slide or whatever dumb excuses ppl come up with, i live 5 min from the city so if ppl need to crash at mine after a city upark sesh no worries always beers in the fridge!

I recently moved to Adelaide, and got a longboard.

I've been skating in my neighborhood a little, but the hills are short and steep, not the best for a beginner.

I don't really know anyone here, so let me know if anyone wants to meet up (i'm 18 btw)
