Roo Wheels Australia began in 2006. The new skateboard wheel concept and design was developed by NAMIS Engineering. The relationship resulted in a wheel that performs greater and also adds a new stylish fashion to skate wheels. Roo Wheels Australia is in the process of building a solid foundation over the next 12 months, with the manufacturing and distributing of their wheels as well as the continued design of boards and other future projects. This will ensure the product(s) are second to none. Roo Wheels are also environmentally friendly, aluminum can be recycled and urethane can be replaced instead of disposing of the whole item.

thanks for that insite louis, how about we get a et sent to the hop shop, let a unnamed shredder take them out for the day and get a longboarders reveiw on this new aussie wheel by the end of the week, how it slides at speed and re acts in corners, and just a good product reveiw by a good longboarder getting sideways.

i want a set just to try and destroy, you can do what you want with them after,

no worries man.
they might hold up completely differently but when i got given them he said the glossy mould release would come off after goin for a roll on them. so im guessing just from rolling on them they will loose thane.

theres a few holes in your answers there, as far as trying to get them on the market i think you would need to be able to answer these questions correctly...

Hey Jacko thanks for the terrific feedback, let me try to answer your questions best i can to give you a clear idea and understanding of what i am trying to communicate..

but let me do it tomorrow when i can compile all the infomation you requested.. im just a bit buggered atm ha awesome questions though man and completely valid look out for my reply bro!

thats cool man your opinions are valid.. i am currently looking for more longboarders to give it a try because as you said there are big differences between the two, thanks for the tip. i would not use "wobble prevention " as a selling point because there are obviously alot of factors that determine that.,in my personable experience switching from an ol school deck set up to a light weight fibreglass board with some sweet wide trucks and the roo wheels made death wobbles a thing of the past, especially living on a hill i skate down everyday with bits of loose gravel normally making it very difficult with vibration and the enevitable wobbles.its just easier dude .

i might also be interested in sending you some to try out for yourself, as i said positive feedback is all ive received

we are looking into doing "in house" wheel replacement. but which is not avail yet...

the average life of a car tyre may be measured in kilometres, this is all we are doing.. to give an approximate wear and tear guide...did i answer all your questions...good though.. please dont hesitate to send me your email so we can keep you up to date

maybe you should get some of ozzies higher profile longboarders to test em out? sure enough you have some good names on your list of riders, but they are all park, bowl or street skaters. there is a huge difference in the way a wheel works between these two fields.

im still not sold on the whole 'wobble prevention' thing though, and im not sure its a good selling point for your brand. saying they have a lower center of gravity is also a little weird too... i would say just leave that out coz it aint gonna work. Longboarders know what cause speed wobbles, and its not the wheels. Lower centre of gravity comes from your body weight, or the profile of the board itself, no the wheels...

the question of the recyclable thane still has not been answered. are you able to elaborate on that one for me?

also the thing on the '1000km til the core'... still have no idea what thats supposed to mean.

great idea.. we did have problem at the start but after 6 yrs of development they are alot stronger... i wanna say that most of our testing has been through unnamed "shredders" and hardcore riders riding them to death..through this process we were able to increase strenght wooooo

Looks interesting. Looks similar to the old coretech mold?
You got 4 days left to launch your website mate, that link is still duff....
Pretty much every user on this website will tell you that 75a wheels slide real good and easy, so yes it is a real concern for us here about just how the thane is attached to the core. I used to use krypto racecores alot, but in the end stopped using them because the thane was only mechanicly attached to the core, so a big high speed slide (and by that I mean sliding at speeds in excess of 80kmh, for longer than you bother to measure) ping! the thane would pop off the core.

please stop using the word 'death wobbles'. Every time it appears in your post it suggests you really know what you are talking about.

You might want to get working on the website, branding, product photos, a solid FAQ, an email address, pricing, distributor list. people take you seriously if you appear a bona fide brand from the off. If you are using coretechs old core technology, and possibly their thane works, I would be very interested in these Roo wheels. I thought Coretech died years ago, and no one took over the factory.  Are you planning on international trade?

cool bud, looks like your getting some of those questions answered. its not just for me though, there is a huge market out there for longboard wheels and its something that every skater would be asking, some might not know how to word it propperly some might not even know they need to ask those questions but they are valid ones. people want to know EXACTLY what the go is when a new wheel comes out.

As for testing, im fine. I already ride the best wheels available (in my opinion) and have not much desire to try anything else out, but there are a few names i would mention that would be able to put your wheels through the proper longboarding test and see if they are the real deal or not.

Like mike said, it would be a good idea to have all your info, website, FAQs and proper details readily available before you release these wheels, just so folks dont have to do the to-and-fro action like whats going on here!

Either way, good job, get some awesome Ozzie brand wheels happening, if they are good im sure there will be plenty of crew here willing to get a set!

I'd be down for testing?

One thing is for sure the ASRA populous will help you alot and get your business off the ground!

If you send me a set ill happily test them out for you too. But I am a bit worried about what louis said that the thane popped off the core while street skating, because I wouldnt really want the thane of my wheel to pop off the core in like a fast standie or predrift or something.

yeah give em to that charlie harris kid. apparently he's all good n shit. dont worry if it pops off, your a kid, you'll just bounce off the road :)

hey louis thanks for your reply. i have not experienced "peeling" as yet but i am interested to know the curcumstance his brother went through we are very open to productive critisism

craig justice lives up the road from me and he gave me some to try. i couldnt since i was injured and gave them back to him. the other models of these wheels 1 set of his brothers just peeled right off while street skating so i doubt they would be anygood for what we do. but i havnt actually tried em so i dunno.
