only you know that

we know nothing about how you like trucks or how heavy you are or what you like your setup to be..... you are asking other opinions when the best one is your own

I ride the 175mm raked hangers with 49deg plates. Ride that shit everywhere. However in standing at the top of Teutonia equipping a 42deg front 35 back 190mm hangers... Ask yourself, what is downhill to you? Proofing around your local slopes or charging 120km/h down rough roads... And racing

yer kinda in the level between local slopes and charging big fuck off roads. the 175mm, 49deg sounds sick. thanks for the advice.

p.s were is the best place to buy them from??

I like the 190mm 42.25 degree ones personally, but the 49 degree plates with a more narrow hanger would be awesome as well, just a little more energy to your ride.

Also, get lots of bushings and be prepared to spend a little time finding the right ones.

Purple and yellow venoms are a good place to start and I have been told that blue SRH barrels all round works well too.

I am running the same as skittles and have found with my bushings and my ride that the Bear 82.5a standards and yelloow venoms are where its at. Im almost 65kg...but when i go rocking the big hills, i chuck on my SHR barrels which are....88a? something like that...but definetly invest in a set of 49* plates if your going with a 190mm hangar. The 42.25 is great but is a little dead.

yer cant decide between gettng a 190mm hanger or a 175mm??

if your going to run 42.25....get 175mm that will liven it up a bit. or you could go all out and ride what jacko rides...49* plates and 175mm hangar. remember, all munkae plates have the same ride height.

It really depends how fast you are going to get going.  I don't know if I would be that confident riding 49* plates and 175mm hangers going 100k's with sweepers and stuff, but if you are going to be doing 70k's or freeriding your local streets, then it would be awesome.

Having said that, guys do Bathurst on paris 50* and are absolutely BOSS!

thanks guys, i think im going to go with the 175mm, 49*.

I bought a set of 175mm 49's a few nights ago, stoked.

Anybody know somebody who wants a good deal on some 176mm rodz with all the bells and whistles?

Haha, should have bypassed the surf rodz and gone straight for the real trucks!

the best munkae setup for downhill would be a setup on a glyde
