ok so now i want to send the event to people i know skate slalom how do i do that or send it to a group?

Hey Bugs, just a quick question, how do you get news stories up in the news feed? I wrote one for Mt. Gravity race but it just come up on the latest activity pannel

Hey Boyd I sent a message to all the Slalom Group members today. I think you can send a message to all group members of any group you are a member of (like Nacccos group) just go to the group and look for the "send message to group" top right the screen. otherwise I think your limited to PMs to people your "friended" to or going to their page and leaving a comment on their wall.

Boyd, from the event page you can also send a message to everybody who has said they are attending. Or you could send an email to people with the event link: http://www.skateboardracing.org.au/events/central-coast-chc-slalom-...

Skittles, all new stories are available by clicking "People" and then "Member News". To appear on the front page they have to promoted by the site admins, and we have highly exacting standards to maintain - for example news stories should start off with a good photo and be timely.

Any thoughts on doing up some sort of ratings table for the groms to rate boards wheels etc for vairiouse uses.

may stop some of the what board to buy posts if they can look up ratings and just follow the herd.

Done. Kinda. The adding will still be a manual process behind the scenes. Try it to see what I mean.

Note that this whole thing isn't "live" yet - it's just a test to gather some ideas and see what can be done. The easy part is gathering the information - the hard part is then presenting it in an easy-to-understand way.
