Hey guys, I'm  in the market for a new board and I've got my heart set on the vanguard by Loaded.  I'm looking manly just to carve but i want the ability to bomb a little bit if I want.  I've got an idea in mind for the set up and was wondering what you guys thought, here it is:

Flex 2 - 42"

Paris 180s

Bones Reds

Abec 11 Gumballs - 76 mm 81a

Any thoughts will be appriciated.

Cheers, dom.

Don't buy loaded, the flex is the opposite you want for bombing.  Having said that, it does make the ride smoother.  Have you looked at the Daddow Platypus? Nice flex and kicks for freeride, dropthrough for easy push and is aussie made.

If you want something a bit stiffer, there is Fat Pidgeon, Glyde, Daddow, Skatement, Early, and probably some others I missed.

Also, paris trucks to tend to get wheelbite easier than other trucks.  Check out calibers (44 or 50 degrees), everyone is getting their feet on them because they are so rad.

Everyone has a loaded

look outside the square.

Maybe a Holsom  deck,

adjustable  wheel base

gives you  variable  flex,

Could  try  Holey trucks,

search  and  discover !!

Excluding your light bombing I have ridden a vanguard setup with s10 trucks. It was both disgustingly and beautifully turny at the same time. Along with the high torsional flex of the vanguard- it was one of the most carvey and fun things I have EVER ridden bar none!!

Agreed!

I've dont 68k's on the holesom, if your conserned about it being good for bombing. Very good board.

also have a look at some aussie made boards.
