have you had a look at the FSU, "Wedge superdrop" ( wedge front with 15mm drop in the rear ) level deck.
Or give Dave a call and see what he can do.

Rip-off? Yeah, right. The FSU board is a drop-thru with a slight drop, different shape and way less nose angle...

Merrick i wouldnt say the FSU is a rip-off, its design is similar but its no where near the same as the chinook. The days are over when you would look at a similar boards and say "pfft thats a rip off" coz now theres so many boards/shapes/designs you look at two similar boards and go "ohhh ok cool thats awesome that design is popular and is now built in im a similar but different way"

Yeah owell. By the way how does the Chinook ride jacko? Good stand up drifter? Whats your opinion on a good drift board.

yeah its a good board for sliding, seeing as the back is higher and coupled with the shape of the deck you have a lot more control over sliding the board. Its easy to push the back wheels out and cornering on that board is a breeze because of the dramatic wedging in the front.
In my opinion a good sliding/drifting board is something that is light in the tail (or the area around your back foot). I'd say flexy boards with concave are easier to throw around because they usually are lighter than DH boards and the concave helps with board control. Also a nicely coned set of wheels will help you with stand up slides.
You should try throwing around your lighter carvy/cruiser boards with harder and more coned wheels before progessing to stand-up sliding on your DH boards, get the motion down first then apply it to a faster board.
remember, the faster you go the easier you will slide, but commitment is key, don't be afraid to lose some skin it always grows back, as long as you got your lid on chances of death are reduced dramatically...

Haha thanks for that, at the moment im sliding my l37 flexdex with conded o tangs, its going pretty good. Would like something with a lot less flex because doing them at speed tends to be pretty sketchy.

Until they are sold. Could be tomorrow could be 6 months depends on whether people suddenly decide it is the current flavour of the month.
