Helmets & photos without Helmets
For all of you out there who are new to the site or new to longboarding, you need to take a very close look at 95% of the photos posted here. Notice anything? How about the simple fact that we all wear helmets. Your not gonna see pics of Daddow, Jacko, Merrick or Benbro shredding without a lid on, and not just coz they rip the road a new arse hole everytime they ride or because have sponsors and are trying to present a safer image for the sport. No, they wear them coz its common sense. So yes if you post photos of you and your mates riding without a helmet you are setting yourselves up for a shit storm of bad feedback. And we don't care if your getting one next week, or if you forgot it at home that day, just don't post them.
Sure the site moderators could delete all the helmetless pics but they have better things to do like skate and organise events.
The shitstorms will continue like it or not. in the meantime wear a lid till the skys clear.

shit yeah speedy, I curse out everyone that rides without one, and I won't ride with you if you don't ride with one.
I have two spare helmets and two spare sets of gloves when I skate so peeps don't hurt them selves
get your crew to throw in for a group helmet if you get new guys all the time, and gloves, sucks when your trying to teach someone how when two seconds later they become a veg!

true.......every skater i kno have been saved by their helmet on occassion,your never to good for a helmet.
pavement,guardrails and cars are harder then your skull,

perhaps there needs to be a sticky thread regarding ASRA and its promotion of safety in the sport ie. wearing safety gear etc
