vault wheels?? opinions?

i was looking at buying some vault wheels. i  have heard mixed responses but apparently they are slidey. i was looking to put em on my freeride deck for sliding only? any advise on them? how long do they generally last???. cheers

I've used both the 78a is a bit more grippy but since they're using the same thane - its still not desirable. 83a is just--- shit if you look at if from a free riding perspective.  (seriously if those abec 11s for 40 are still avaliable get theemmmm)

On the topic of vault, my first board was one of their fuck off big pintails, got sick of it, so i chopped it up and cut drop mounts, shredded that for a while, got a landy, and use the vault deck as an indoboard, sick. I fuckin smashed that deck into all sorts of shit and its solid. The trucks are shit, but i put the wheels on a little cruiser iv got and for a push to the shops theres nothing wrong with them.

If your fourteen and you work at fuckin doughnut king, and you dont have the sort of money for a landy or some otangs, buy a vault, get stocked, and at least youv got something to shred while you save up for a more expencive board.

Bro that's great if we were talking about a set up- He's asking bout wheels-> vault wheels are not worth the money no matter how you cut the cake -> Can't afford more expensive stuff? Buy second hand, Save longer!

Buy some good wheels they WILL last longer stay rounder for longer and not explode at speed and yes I have seen this happen first hand.

To say that any of the big wheel companies are bad because they are motivated by money is one of the stupidest thing I have ever heard, of fucking cause they are! Shit bitch that's why I have a job! And why do you think they make more money then say vault or other brands, because they sell better shit, and to not support them because of that is wrong. Better, but guess what thane has come a long way from the 70's and it is much easier to get some thing that works, just look at how many small American wheel companies there are now.

Let's look at venom for one, very small company motivated by skating and money caninbals are wicked.
Cult tiny company sweet wheels always making new stuff
Nersh centre set wheels new stuff comic from them all the time also they are planning on making aero helmets.
Pocket pistols OG slalom guys make pre coned wheels

All of these companies want money, no doubt about it but straight out of the gate they are trying to get it by selling shit that is worth buying, also thy all support riders and races end of story!
