tires are a bit harder to cut though. I used tin snips for mine.

thanks so much!.. would a stanley knife work?
gotta muscle it up with a stanley bro
We've done this lots of times. a stanley knife works better on thinner stuff and a hacksaw is better for thicker things like a car tyre. By contact glue do you mean contact cement? if your using contact cement if the shoe sole itself isnt rubber it doesnt stick. i would recommend shoo goo because it works on all shoes
yeah i have contact adhesive thats waterproof and stuff and i have shoegoo as well
kwik grip
or just buy some foot break sole. or go to clark rubber. they have some decent high density stuff.

Connor try the search button dude this has been done in several detailed discussions.
