ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

Just bought a timeline and i want some grippy wheels for it. Bearings are cool too if you have them.

Looking at the 70mm range, something real nice and fat.

I'm going to be using them for pumping, carving and commuting around suburbia.

I'm also open to suggestions as to what people think would be the best for this kind of thing aswell. So even if your not selling any tell me what you think would go down sweet.

Thanks.

I'll think about it man but i might see if anyone else has anything to offer; Gumballs are an older wheel and i haven't seen anyone riding them lately so i'm guesing the newer models (bigzigs otangs avila's) are a better quality or whatever.

I'll keep it in mind though, thanks.

80a orang stims or durians?

yeah they are more slide wheels? just due to the shape.

Ideally i think zigzags would work well. maybe some old slalom'ers will have some stuff lying around :)

My friends selling some brand new 70mm Orangatang 83a 4-President.

Even though they are 83a they have quite a lot of grip and as long as you dont slide on them to often because they will eventually break in if you do so but you can still do pre-drifts and because of that little bit of hardness it allows for smoother  pre drifts and speed checks and so on. My friend ordered the wrong wheel and he really wants to sell them or is considering a trade for some stimulus or durians. They havent arrived yet but he will give them to you brand new straight out of the box.

barely scrubbed white cannibals

Get yourself some 80a square lipped wheels. Orange otangs and lime zigs are popular.

Thanks man i will.

I think i might head over to pavedwave.org and see what they think of cannibals and 83a 4prez; those guys seem to be the experts in the field :)

The 'experts' are here just tired of answering the same questions over again. You just have learn who to listen to and who to ignore.

Orange 4prez if you're after a 70mm, can't go wrong.
70mm Lime ZigZags, nothing grips more. O'tangs are not made for pure grip and so don't grip anywhere near as hard as a zigzags. Forget pavedwave they do long distance, slalom is what your after. A discipline that relay purely on grip and nothing is more used in the international and domestic slalom scene as zigzags. If you have ever seen jacko at a slaom race you will note he always uses zigzags even though he is sponsored by O'tang. No other wheel really competes for core rail grip

78a cannibals grip like a boooooosssss

like almost better than a bigzig...

robbo is right even after they are thrashed retro thane grips like a mother. I have a set thats almost to the core and they still grip like new.

Ok thanks thats heaps helpful.
Matthys i'll see if i can get some zigzags off anyone but if i can't i'll probably send you a pm to see if you still have the cannibals
