Looking to get a longboard for downhill street riding

Hey all, i'm a newbie to the scene looking to get a longboard for downhill street riding (not racing just yet) after a good wipeout on my old trick-deck. Looking for something with good stability that won't suddenly stop if i hit a gumnut sending me rolling down the rest of the hill...

I've been looking around at a few places but not many give enough info about the board or i don't understand the info they do give for me to know what is a good one. Does anyone have any suggestions around the $250 mark?

Alternatively, does anyone have any second-hand completes that'd be good for downhill street that they are willing to part with?

I'm on the north shore of sydney but can drive within the sydney area to pick it up or happy to pay for postage.

Looks pretty sweet. I might be able to adjust for hills. How much u after?

Hey all, thanks heaps for all ur replies.

I got an Early OzTeam DH 41".

Been out a fair bit on it and really enjoying it.

Went skating with some dudes yesterday who made me see just how much more I have to learn :p
