first DH longboard
i was thinking of buying a landyachtz drop speed for DH with retro bigzigs and bear gryzills! does this seem like a good board as im a new comer to DH? if not any suggestions?

yeh drop speed would be a gd choice, but have a look at the avenger, killswitch, evo. something around that sort of thing i would recommend rayne but thats just what i prefer. What led u too the dropspeed though?

well i dont no really it just looked like a good board and also my friend who is a professional rider suggested that i get a drop speed if not i really like the look of all the rain boards!! would the hustler be good for DH?

The hustler is flexy and not really designed for dh at all, It can do mild downhill but if your getting something specifically for DH then dont get it.
Look at the avenger, killswitch, isis, hellcat, nemesis or demonseed
The demonseed is massive though so if your not too big dont get it.But the drop speed is sweet as well

Have a look at early skateboards. The Bomb is a pretty good downhill deck. Stable as a mofo. Just throwing it out there man. A nice deck to start on and progress

Personal preference, the killswitch, ive ridden both and the killswitch to me is far better, prefer the contruction of it and also the pleasure dome concave is rad!! i would get the killswitch, with whatever trucks and wheels you want.
