Are Early skateboards pad protectors any gud/worth my money? i have been long boarding for maybe a month now, and still havn't bought any pads, and i think it is about time i got some. i was looking at 187 fly pads set off hopkin for $102, and i also found on board shop Early skateboards pads set for $60. Being someone who likes to spend money as little and well as possible, i am keen to know from those who own, or have owned some of the early skateboards pads. Hope you can help!

thank you :D

I use Early pads, they're good. Little round gap in the back for your knee cap to fit snug like, whole elastic section for your limb plus the two Velcro straps means they stay put
If you don't have pads yet then buy them. They save my skin and boosted my confidence so I could learn to corner and slide properly.
How thick are the caps of Early skate pads compared to 187 pads?

I'm looking to get these and being a fairly slim guy (weigh around 75) should I go with small? I was using a set of old knee pads last night and I slid on them and they slid up my leg resulting in road rash all over my knees so I don't want this to happen again!
I'm a tall skinny dude (70kgs 6ft) and got the Mediums. Knees are fine but elbows too big. The size factor is only the strap length. I suggest going Smalls as the straps are elastic and stretch a bit over time. To ensure they stay put, take the time to take your shoes/gloves off and slide your leg/arm into the large elastic section. They are designed for this, more comfy and more stable. Boardshop have them on sale, smash it.

i don't know about how gud they are...but i've seen them be put up to some test....so i can attest to them being good, just not their gud rating.
charge it!!!
