bigzigs work better for me than stims for sliding!?

hey,

i have a tan tien with 70mm 86a stims.. the other night i borrowed some 75mm bigzigs with a much softer duro (78?) and put them on my board.. i found them a lot better for sliding.. the transition was smoother in and out of the slide and it was more controllable.. has anyone else found this?

i find that stims vibrate and grind me to a halt, where on the other wheels it was a smoother transition in and out of the slide.. unfortunately the 75mm wheels have the risk of wheelbite on the tan tien so im back to the stims..

perhaps the stims just are not worn in properly yet?

anyway food for thought for anyone considering one or the other..

What are spacers n speed rings? I have washers on and a cylinder between the bearings ( which can fall out of place when wheels are off) if that's what you mean?

as ash said, get spacers and speed rings, and then crank the nut down, it looks like it doesnt spin as good, but it wont matter at speed, and the slides are soooooo much smoother, my mates stims are down to about 55mm and the slide is incredible!!!
then you have spacers n speed rings.

nothing wrong with having a personal preference
