Found some DH at Abbotsford near city.

Studley park rd heading down towards Johnston St.

Just over 1km long, max speed around 60kmph if you have a killer mad tuck, relatively easy run, I recommend doing it late at night when there are no cars.

Short, fast, fun.

But all of this info is useless because none of you n00bs have cars... bah!

I'm in Essendon and get down the coast pretty often to surf so whatever dates you're thinking i'll probably be able to do, when were you thinking or not sure just sometime in the holidays? How would you be getting down there?

brenton i normally just get the bus into lorne, my access to the main run in lorne is abit harder (my girlfriend dont like 8km up it anymore) but its more of a just hmmm, might go shred lorne, there is talk of doing it when ben comes over from tazzie again and just doing a weekend trip or something then.
also dude if you want to have a shred this arvo give me a call on 0400083729, i am going for a city roll this arvo

A big weekend trip with a few people would be great, keen too meet a few people in Melbourne sessions. Also I've got a couple of mates who might be keen as well. I might be able to get a lift down to Lorne, depending. Not sure about a skate this arvo, I've got training for acrobatics but I'll let you know if I can get into the city.

Hey people iv just been reading, some of these post and just wanted to
say hi and i might see some of you guys soon. I'm a skater from
Melbourne. I just got back from a few
years over in Canada where i was doing lots of down hill and loving it.
None of my skater mates here longboard. I'm just wondering if there is
much of a scene here? i've seen some rad spots out in the dandys that i
would love to hit. Is there ant good one in town worth checking out? any
good regular sessions?
