Hey bow. I think kooky baseplates have been changed so they are able to be dropped-thru, although from what ive heard they are better top mounted. You could always try and top mount them.
they are pretty nice and drifty but still have some grip to them... not anywhere near as fast as o-tangs though...

kookys on a drop through board a sweet! thats how im running them and im loving it. hangar bite is only an issue with a really thick deck. mine are no where near close to hitting on the deck.
though, i have the proto hangers, on some 50degree force baseplates on another board, and standing still i can get the hangars to touch the board, but not while riding. they are fine on the 35degree plates though.
just something to keep in mind, though if your going with the full set, they you'll have no worries at all.
Cheers guys thanks for all the responses, all great info. Good to hear that Ash is ridin fine with the kooks. I tried Leighs kookys out just cruisin and they felt pretty good, no hanger bite. Also wat are your thoughts on the Jimz's?? Anyone tried them out?
Don't know if that's the right place to post, correct me if I'm wrong.
Anyway, it is SNOWING on Montreal right now. Big snow flakes. Fucking snow. Just remembering right now how much I hate it. We have an outlaw planned on Sunday, the organizer said it would take place, sunshine or rain or snow. It should be interesting.
Montreal CH just won over the Carolina Hurricannes, so I guess there is still some hope left on this planet.
