jacko dude, i wasn't there. we always spot that corner. there was only him and a mate. i got my helmet, we all own one now except him. we were goin up to the hopshop on wednesday to get him one, we've allways got a spotter where ever we go(usually on a pushy). just he didn't think it through, he might have had his headphones in listening to his ipod

Its a real shame that this happened, and my thoughts go out to him and his family/friends. i wish him a speedy recovery and hope all is well.
But yeah it goes to show just how serious things can get when you let your guard down. When your mixing it up on the road where there is a potential for cars you always have to take extra precautions. People dont rip on everyone here about not wearing a helmet coz its a cool thing to do its just so serious that its kinda stupid not to wear one. Its cool that you guys were looking out for your mate and wanted to get him a lid though and i respect that, but yeah i guess in this case shit happens and it happened bad. But i hope from now on your crew will have a greater understanding of the consequences involved with bombin hills on skateboards and learn from this exerpeince to help you have greater respect for the road and the dangers involved. Not trying to tell you off here at all mate so please dont take it the wrong way. Not saying that buying a helmet would have saved him from that crash, but like u said u guys always spot that corner and it was just him and a mate that time and it seems like his mate wasnt spotting... so theres an example of what can go wrong when u dont think things through

i met zacc through josh corkery on sunday after hearing many funny stories of him.
had a cruisy skate and got along real well.
Was very sad to hear of the state zacc was in and wish him the best in his recovery
