speed isnt always everything... its always fun to do techy stuff so you can really rail corners and figure out your race lines... anyway i'll get things sorted out in a few days and let you know whats happenin
ok dude sounds rad. all i need is a ride to/from the airport and a couch/floor to sleep on and im all set to book the flights.

hills dont always have to be super fast its just always rad to skate new terrain and meet new people who are stoaked on the same thing i am!
ill be there next year :D will have to try and get a few people together and head down! was hoping to do it this year, but its just too crazy this time of the year.
Yeah it was a pretty rad day. Got to meet heaps of new peeps. I was definately getting more comfortable as the day wore on.
Bad luck about the calf phil... next time should be great.
went up there again today with bowditch and dani. i'm loving the close proximity riding on that hill, especially on the technical section. at one stage me and dani entered that last hairpin at the same time, which was a new experience. it sure adds to the rush of the already crazy sport. Bowditch tried out his new zigs for drifting on the same corner and didn't stop drifting until he hit the gravel and nearly the metal rails. me and dani were close to the bottom before we realised he was no longer on the road.
after eoth, we headed to linden for some Draft Training. its effing scary trying to touch the person in front of you when ur going around 60. did some more drifting aswell. dani hit the curb hard and fast. it flung him backwards about 2 meter's before he hit the ground. it certainly looked painful. just bruises tho.
gonna go out again tomorrow to look for some more roads and try out Aldgate Valley Rd. Should be fun, but i'll probably be stuffed after yesterday and today's awesome sessions.
thanks for the fun guys. i'm stoked.
Bummer man. I was keen to skate aldgate with you guys.

Have fun anyways. Its also a pretty sick place for filming.
myself and scribb are hoping to get over next year and get some skating in with you lot.

should be a good time...not set date or anything, but expect about early to mid next year...

hopefully.
good to hear ur all coming over guys. our regular crew seems to be growing pretty fast, so by the time u guys get here we'll be able to have a few decent races.

Checked out this hillclimb track today that i had high hopes might be a suitable legal race venue, unfortunately it was pissing down rain so didnt get my board out. Its not as long as i thought only about 600m and the surface is below par (but not loose) not suitable for racing but might be fun to ride. Used to be the highway but is now blocked off only for hillclimbs. This corner is way steeper and more banked than it looks and hooks past the 90 degree mark like forest elbow, and it comes just after a 90 degree left hander that leads to a short straight before bombing around this corner down a straight that has a shicaine made from tyres with a big left hander to finish. I have footage of the whole run which i might put up. Would be alright on the way to Dorrigo as it is literally right beside the highway.
Nice find man. there is a hill climb track up the sunshine coast, at noosa, which is kinda fun. not very fast, but would be fun with a few people on it.

paul, those 313 decks are so nice, one of my favourite composite decks. as for the S9 race, im not sure how you go about getting them, as i believe they were really only made for team riders.
