there is fitzroy gardens which is abit of fun. i know of a good slide hill in south yarra (secret-ish for the moment) but the really fun places do require abit of travel on trains etc.
ah sweet thanks, hopefully gonna get around to Flagstaff tomorrow, depends on how many people are around shouldnt be too many
fitzroy is much better than flagstaff alex! we used to hit flagstaff quite alot but the paths are really narrow and people are more anal there (alot of people walking from the station station after work). if you hit it between 1 and 4 there shouldnt be too much traffic.

fitzroy has bigger better and longer paths (wider too!).

but yeah most of our best "dh" spots are hush hush we dont have the best luck with cops.
there should be plenty of stuff around my train line I just haven't bothered to go and search yet. In the city, my favourite place would be Fitzroy after finding the run the other day.
Where i live it pretty awsome its like fitzy but longer and more corners.
i live on top of this long hill and can get to drains easy, which is sweeet

The big dots are the start ( as you can see theres more then one) and the straight lines are the finish. Its not that fast (30, 40)
Its very fun. But you need spoters.

We should all sesh there one day, its a pretty fun track.
alex if your in flem etc then newmarket (sailyard housing estate) is fun as all hell, the parade in ascot vale is fun at night, marybenong road if you pick the lights is dope, china town. falls road in lorne is defs one of my fave spots right now (all i been riding for like a month) lorne in general go's off and there are a few spots in appolo bay which are sick to shred.
hey alex, yeah theres not too much DH close to the city, there are a few little road bombs but u really have to pic ur moment as they tend to hav a bit of traffic,me and me bro hav been goin on one of the many bike trails and there is u few little downhill sections but nothin too crazy,we hav a clip search asra for city trail and that should be it.it starts at rushall station on the epping line and follows the river for ages but we usually get off around collingwood/abottsford
theres also a few little runs behind the zoo wich are always fun too
This is abit out of the way, but is worth looking up if your down Torqauy way, Spring Valley Drive is a nice, smooth run and has very little traffic.

Looks like a nice area to sesh, but not fast/long enough to drive 1.5 hrs to get to. R u from Torquay?
