Yes to an over 50's class!
Snap......
we will also need start ramps with hydraulic lifts like on the back of delivery vans.
Oh and larger cones....those little ones are getting a bit too hard to see.
(once tried dodging cones with reading glasses on, needed a Bex and a good lie down after that!)
PC is the current over-40s ruler. I reckon I might sneak into second place as long as I can beat Groundhangers, and until Steve D turns 40 (next year?).
Yeh see, back then, we had rivalry and thats when it was good. Tweaking your gear and fiddling with your trucks actually meant something. I want it back.
Bahahahahaaaa!

Grey power rules If ya want it lets get it or fark off and play lawn bowls
Mick, you running through the numbers almost divides the field into half, sort of. Thats good cause. It really wouldnt make much more paper work on race day, as it would probably still fit on one sheet in a head to head format, hmmm maybe. Either way, one sheet or two, there would still be flow. Just an extra finals, Interesting.

What do you think Colin?

Last year we were getting around the magic number of 32 people per head-to-head race. To split it into two would mess things up IMO. There would be a lot of byes, and the over-40s would have to choose whether to race in the over-40s division or the open division. I'd choose open, and I imagine most others would too. So what's the point?

BUT, it's easy enough to have a separate category for over-40s without having a separate race. That's what we've been doing for women and juniors. Everybody races in the one bracket, but there's still a fastest women, fastest junior, fastest old-fart etc.

With bigger numbers of racers we can have separate brackets.
