You guys didn't miss out on anything, nearly ditched out for the garages.
And those of us that did come, ditched them by 8:40, after 1 run down wickham.
Paul, that sounds fuckin excellent.
I may be able to get a hold of that bbq...

well theres aways next time :)
Damm, we had a few damp runs and thought you guys bailed cause of the weather... BBQ at Hill climb sounds awesome, how bout an outlaw as well, a big GS track on the twisty bit.

No leathers required.
speeds are about 45 to 55 tops
there would be a tap up top near the fire station,( or there is bp down the road)
but no actual tap down the run anywhere.
its about a 10 min drive from cooroy shops.
There is an oval near the bottom of the run to the left of the road you could put up a tent easy.
A SGS course would be fun indeed.
Here a recent video from the noosa hill climb, where they have an event like twice a year. heres the track from bottom to top, minus another extra few hundred metres of road.
Hey guys, I would be up for the skate, I just have no way of getting to noosa. Is there anyone who could give me a lift from the city on their way there?

Will this still be on sunday?
guys, i would be 100% on coming up but it has to be after the 15th. i am in Canada until then.

I would love to come, so could you please hold off until then. im sure i could get around 9 or so people from brisbane going up from our group, as well as all the other guys.

Im thinking maybe the 17th would be perfect. Plenty of notice, and lots of people would come. a lot of people from brisbane, gold coast, sunshine coast and all that.
Around the 17th sounds good Isaac like you say gives everyone plenty of time to get their shit together. I ve got a few cones for the GS but will need more, can get BBQ should be good fun with big crew so come one come all. Would also be good if we could get some sort of mud map to brisy carparks, got lost last night.
This thing is still a work in progress. It's a private map so you can only use this link to get to it.

steve and pete (from sunny coast) and josh and I went up on thursday at midday on the promise lots of local groms going to be turning up but alas nil.... we parked and walked to the top but that blows say 30mins buy the time you rest up for 5....if you have a dedicated driver (s) you candrive to the top via the main road and do the full run but its rough as hell at the top and slow through the bottom but at least you can get a few runs in before passing out from heat exhaustion . suggest bring brooms for the twigs and leaves and a minibike to tow people up the actual run rather than driving up the main road . travel distance wise its 145km from the bottom of the gateway bridge...hope that helps
