yeah, i did initially upload to blip.tv. it is much better than youtube in that sense, but i have always been a youtube fan. so i like to upload them there too.
thanks for the "help" link. the problem i have found using the h.264 codec, is that it tips the video over the youtube limit of 100mb before its crunched down. so it never plays back in the same quality as when i uploaded it. but atleast this codec gives me the "Watch in high quality" option. so its the way i have gone recently.
it never used to be this difficult when i first started using youtube a few years ago. now there are lots of annoying restrictions like this that just piss me off.
thanks tho Jacko
great sesh at eagle today. good to finally meet Duff. next time we'll have him riding with us.
i did the full run as usual at the end of the sesh and by then it was just down to me and Bowditch. Hit it faster than ever and ended up with serious speed wobbles at about 60, just before the section where it plateaus. it threw me off and i went for a bit of a slide. luckily nothing was damaged (my board), but it sure was scary being my first fall at that sort of speed. took a while to compose myself, but i continued on and enjoyed the rest of the run. can't wait till next week.
ps. http://vimeo.com/ seems to be the way to go for video uploading. doesn't crunch down the quality much at all.
Awww man, I missed out on Duff and an awesome stack. Spewing! Glad to hear you were'nt hurt Leigh. Glad to hear you have been up there again Judge. Couple more weeks and I will be up there again, YAY.
Sector 9 has a few decks specifically made for chicks. The problem with these guys is that they dont advertise all of there boards on the there website so you have to search a bit. I know my local surf store carries a few.

not going down any hills....for now.....
seriously though, check some of the companies out that are in my list, the other thing to do is jump on the fish and look at the new legendary/roggs/dopamine boards, cool colour choices and apparently- not too expensive....oh, and just because i can, check out a guy in your neck of the woods, blizzard on the fish- he makes pulse longboards- looks like a speedervish (speedboard/dervish) but apparently they are pretty nice....
just my 2c to try and help...let us know how it goes.
