Unless you have been living on another planet you should be aware that open registration for the IGSA World Cup in Bathurst starts at 8am this Saturday 4th September.
At last years event the total rider cap was set at 200; this year's rider cap across all disciplines has been reduced to 160. In combination with a radical new race format never before attempted at an IGSA event and the reduced rider cap you will have more chances than ever to win or lose the $20,000 in prize money that ASRA is putting up for the event.
Last year the computer server that hosts our registration system near collapsed in the first hour of registration due to the biggest traffic and user spike in the history of the ASRA website. This year we have hardened the system to take account of last years traffic explosion.
Priority List
If you are on the priority list you should register now to guarantee your place in the richest and biggest event on the IGSA world tour.
Ordinary Folks
If you are not on the priority list than get yourself ready to be in front of a computer at 8am this Saturday with your credit card on hand. Last year 145 people had successfully registered for the event in the first hour and with a total rider cap of 160 you don't want to miss your chance!
ASRA Membership
Newton's Nation is an ASRA-run event. This means all Australian competitors must be full Association Members of ASRA to compete at Newton's Nation. If you are not on the official ASRA member list your registration will be void and your place offered to the next available competitor. For all you aspiring grom world champions this means a fully paid member and not just a member of the ASRA website. If you are not a member of ASRA then JOIN NOW or miss out on the glory.
Grab your widget
We now have an official Newton's rego widget courtesy of the computer nerds at the Hopkin Racing bunker that shows you live rego stats of who's in and who's not. So get the code and post it on your facebook page, blog, MySpace, twitter, or your own website and keep up to date with who's racing against you for the 20 kahunas in prize money.
