"best freeride wheels are the '4' skateboard company. the white  70mm cruiser wheelsare huge in  wa and slide like free rides and there 60 dollars such a good wheel and they wear well even when you do big standies :)  "

 bummer ur in qld, cant go for a sesh to share my newbie perspective on standups. i hang my heels off the heelside rail and crouch low during a heelside carve. when im some ways into the carve i push forwards with my feet. stay in a sort of sitting position. and of course practice, with friends :)
